Val Ferret
Located at the foot of the majestic chain of the Mont Blanc, Val Ferret is one of the most spectacular valleys of Courmayeur and the Valle D'Aosta.
The Val Ferret is distinguished by its gentle slopes; it is more than 20 km long, is the ideal destination for various sports activities, and walks all year in direct contact with nature. Locanda Belvedere is ideally situated on the Mont-Blanc Tour Trek.
In winter, you are welcomed by a spectacular cross-country ski circuit and a pedestrian one for snow trekking; you may hike with snowshoes to accessible shelters or enjoy using the snow bike.
Summer in Val Ferret means enjoying golf, traveling along the numerous naturalistic itineraries or trails that lead to shelters, and you may also practice mountain biking, go fishing or simply relaxing in the sun.
Courmayeur
The station of Courmayeur (1.224 m) is nestled in a green basin surrounded by firs and larch, mountains and glaciers at the foot of the massif of the Mont Blanc.
Courmayeur has an authentic Alpine atmosphere, being an international tourist town. The history of this “pearl of the Alps” has long been linked with Mont Blanc and it is one of the historic capitals of Alpinism and mountain trekking.
For an extraordinary experience, you must not miss the funicular railway of Mont Blanc, which in just a few minutes covers more than 2,000 meters of slope with a panoramic view of the glaciers and the giants of the Alps.
Courmayeur's alpine ski complex attracts beginning and expert skiers from around the world. In winter, the Vallée Blanche descent, crossing the Mer de Glace glacier to reach Chamonix on the French slope of the Mont Blanc, will be a memorable freeride skiing experience.
